Scheduled to premiere on HBO in 2010, The Pacific is the largest budget television mini-series ever to be produced.
The creative team was based in Melbourne for 18 months where all of the pre-production and 80% of the filming took place.
A sizeable amount of post production was also completed in Melbourne at local lab, post and VFX companies: Deluxe Melbourne, Digital Pictures and Iloura.
