Jill Bilcock is not only up to par with any editor I've ever worked, she is superior to most editors I've ever met, she is truly in a class by herself. She is remarkable and she should be declared a national treasure. An editor has to be mindful of performance, be mindful of rhythm able to generate excitement through action, movement and featuring the best of a movie in all these aspects is a rarity most editors are very centred on character or they are centred on performance or they are action editors - Jill just has a fantastic eye for everything across the board.
