You don't have to film here to access incentive grants!

Film Victoria's Melbourne Film Office manages the state government's financial incentive program to encourage post production in the state.

The Production Investment Attraction Fund is designed to attract footloose feature films, television series, reality programs, mini-series, telemovies, animation series and documentaries to film and/or post produce/vfx in Melbourne. The grant is offered as a cash rebate on a minimum production and/or post production/vfx spend.

PIAF can be combined with the Australian Federal Government's Post, Digital, and Visual Effects offset, which provides a 15% rebate to projects that spend at least AU$5million on post, digital, and visual effects works in Australia, regardless of where the projects was shot.
